COPYCAT: Is SRK's Challa from Jab Tak Hai Jaan inspired?

AR Rahman's Challa song might be creating waves on the internet, but it has emerged that the song is not exactly err.. original. It is in fact inspired by Eagle-Eye Cherry's number Save Tonight from his album Desireless. The opening notes of Challa, where SRK is strumming the guitar, is uncanningly similar to Save Tonight's music.

Challa is sung by Rabbi Sheirgill.

"Challa will be out on the Oct 1 (Monday). Looking forward to it, haven't seen it since we finished shooting it," SRK, 46, had tweeted earlier.

Directed by Yash Chopra, the film will SRK playing the role of an army officer named Samar. The movie also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan is set to release on November 13.
