While Justin Bieber prepares to launch a worldwide tour, his friend Sean Kingston has been caught up in the media for taking Bieber's $100,000 car. While earlier reports claim that Bieber gave Kingston the car, that is not the case at all.
According to E! Online, Kingston was spotted driving through downtown Los Angeles in Justin Bieber's unique FIsker Karma. While early reports claimed that Bieber had simply given the car to Kingston, the rapper finally admitted that he had taken the car out for a ride while Bieber leaves for a world tour.
"It was just a joke and Sean didn't mean to upset Justin or Scooter [Bieber's manager who gave the car to Justin for his birthday]. The whole thing got blown out of proportion," said a source close to Kingston.
Bieber had parked the car at Kingston's home in Los Angeles for safety since he will be gone for a while touring. According to The Huffington Post, the Fisker is now back in Bieber's garage with security.
While there is no word yet if the friendship between the two music stars has been affected, the moving of the car says there was definitely trust issues from Bieber's camp. As the 18-year-old continues to perform shows, he will definitely be keeping an eye on his six figure car.
